Award-winning cheesemonger, instructor, and Certified Cheese Professional, Jessica Keahey (ACS CCP®), is the founder of Sweet Freedom Cheese, the first independently-owned cut-to-order cheese shop in Arkansas. Sweet Freedom Cheese Shop opened in 2018 and has been featured in Cheese Market News, Culture Magazine, and NWA Alive and been named by The Wall Street Journal as one of the top independent cheese shops in the US to find the country’s best cheese.

Sweet Freedom Cheese is open in the South Market Food Hall at the 8th Street Market and offers a unique selection of locally and internationally-sourced cheeses, cured meats, hand selected wines, and specialty grocery items. In addition, customers can order our cheese plates, charcuterie boards, grilled cheese, and other menu items to-go. We also offer a variety of catering and gifting options for both personal occasions and corporate events, including custom gift baskets and beautiful cheese & charcuterie platters for your next gathering.
